Temptation of the Baltic Sea

You can enjoy the summer by visiting tourist attractions that are located very close to the seaside – seeing the sunset, sea waves and ships entering the sea is possible by walking along the promenade of the Southern Pier leading up to the lighthouse. On the way to the Southern Pier from the watchtower, there are two fishing boats exhibited in the urban environment – “Azova” and “Grots”. The landscape from the top to the city and the sea can be enjoyed from the 19-meter-high watchtower, you can also see the 4-meter-high sculpture “Cow – Sailor” here and the giant “Chair” made of anchor chain links.

In the South-West part of the city, new entrance with wooden pathways to the sea has been built. The ninth pathway from Jūrmala Park leads to nudist beach, but the 10th pathway is suitable for walking the dogs.
