On 29 October at 11.00 in the Children’s Town and at 15.00 in the Children’s Park “Fantāzija”, the event agency “Smaidu darbnīca” will offer an exciting programme in the Halloween mood. Wednesday Adams, the star of the Nevermore Academy, a favourite among children and young people, will invite families to overcome obstacles, look fear in the eye and discover their hidden talents. Maybe Wednesday will teach you her famous dance!
Nevermore Academy is a place where children with extraordinary talents live and learn. This Sunday, the Academy will be in Ventspils to connect the worlds of the real and the fantastic. This festive day will remind us how important it is to discover and share our own special weirdness.
The Adams family, created by American cartoonist Charles Adams, has long been a staple of the entertainment industry. The well-known Adamses are a satire of the ideal American family of the first half of the 20th century – a wealthy, quirky, aristocratic, closed circle of people obsessed with ghostly and creepy things and completely uninterested in what others think of them. In the teen series “Wednesday”, released in 2022, it is Wednesday Adams who is the central character. The series has become one of the most watched on the video streaming site Netflix. –
Children are encouraged to come in ghostly outfits or with a Halloween accessory, but of course this is not obligatory. This celebration is about having fun, showing your best self and spending time together.
