We would like to inform you that due to the Ventspils City Festival events, traffic will be closed in the following places and times:
- Ostas Street in the section from Jāņa Street to Lielaja Street from July 29 at 09.00:3 to August 12.00 at XNUMX:XNUMX – during the construction and installation of technical equipment;
- Skolas Street from Katrīna Street to Zvanu Street and Tirgus Street from Pils Street to Ostas Street, as well as Skārņu Street from August 1 at 05.00:3 to August 03.00 at XNUMX:XNUMX – to ensure the operation of the holiday market in the Market Square;
- Ostas Street along its entire length with adjacent streets from the Ferry Terminal to the intersection of Ostas Street and Pils Street from August 2 at 05.00:3 to August 04.00 at XNUMX:XNUMX – to ensure the festive program;
- Sofijas Street (in the section from Kuldīgas Street to Pils Street) and Akmeņu Street (entire length) on August 2 from 06:00 to 17:00 – to ensure the Book Festival.
Transport movement restrictions plan
Due to the festive procession on August 2, transport will be closed at the following times and locations:
- From 10.30:12.00–XNUMX:XNUMX Lielais prospekts and the streets leading to it in the section of Vasarnīcu – Brīvības streets;
- From 10.30:12.00 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. Kuldīgas Street at the intersection from Pāvila Street to Lielais Prospekt;
- From 09.30–12.00:
- Pētera Street in the section Vasarnīcu Street – Saules Street;
- The Great Prospect in the section Poruka – Vasarnīcu Street;
- Poruka Street in the section Lielais Prospect - Inženieru Street.
- Vasarnīcu Street in the section Kroņa – Inženieru Street.
From 09.30:12.00–XNUMX:XNUMX, traffic will be limited on Vasarnīcu Street in the section Kroņa – Inženieru Street. Until the start of the march, its participants and the participating vehicles will stand on the right side of the roadway of Vasarnīcu Street, but the roadway on the other side of the street will be open to traffic. Traffic will be regulated by the Municipal Police and the State Police.
From 10.30:12.00 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. on Brīvības Street from Strēlnieku to Jūras Street.
(When driving along Lielo prospekt from the Pārventa side, a right turn will be allowed at the intersection with Brīvības Street.)
