A base has been created for fans of extreme sports, where, while spending their free time usefully, everyone can train and learn tricks in extreme roller skating, freestyle cycling and skateboarding, as well as organize competitions. Ventspils skate park was created thanks to the support of Ventspils municipality and was designed in accordance with the highest requirements of professionals. Ventspils summer skate park has been operating since 2000 and over the years it has been expanded with new elements.

The skatepark's territory, which is around 5200 m², has concrete ramps, half-ramps, slopes, pyramids, trick coasters, springboards, slides, run-in ramps, a "volraid wall", metal elements, a special pool and an area for beginners, a total of around 40 different elements.

The park's greatest pride is the large ramp designed by the laureate of many international extreme competitions, Belgian Wim Leanerts, who is also the chief designer of the "SAUNAKO" RHINO ramps.

The large ramp of the Ventspils skate park is the most universal and modern ramp in the Baltic States in terms of technical parameters.

It is 3,8 m high, 12,5 m long and 9,6 m wide and its surface is wear-resistant against impacts, deformation and the negative effects of weather conditions.

The ramp is TUV certified and meets all European Standards Association requirements.

Visiting the skatepark is free.
