The people of Ventspils have managed to build a hill and have given it the name of the long-time mayor of the city – “Lemberga hūte”. The unique hill in the coastal lowland of Western Latvia was created artificially, using construction debris and the unusable soil cover of streets being reconstructed. Its height is currently 58 m, the length of the descent is 240 m and it is increased every year.

In winter, the mountain pleases skiers and snowboarders, for whom a special snowboard park and a downhill ski track have been created. A tube slide track and a children's sledding track also provide exciting moments. The mountain is operated by five lifts, five snow blowers and a snow tractor. The tracks are illuminated. Those who do not yet feel confident skiing will be helped by skilled ski instructors. There is also a downhill ski and snowboard equipment rental at the foot of the mountain.

In addition, every visitor has the opportunity to climb to the top of the mountain “Lemberga Hūte”, from where a unique view opens up, which was recognized as the Greatest View in Kurzeme in 2018.

When the weather conditions are suitable for skiing, the mountain operates every day.
