Sculpture "Nature sometimes cuts its teeth" (sculptor: J. Yagi / Y. Yagi)
The sculpture was placed in Ventspils in 2004, when the international stone sculpture symposium “Ventspils-2004” was held for the first time in the territory of the Ventspils Seaside Open-Air Museum. Eight sculptors from different countries of the world participated in the art event, drawing inspiration from the proximity of the sea and incorporating the emotions they experienced into stone art works for ten days. “Nature Sometimes Cuts Its Teeth” is a sculpture by the Japanese sculptor Yoshio Yagi, which won the first international stone sculpture symposium.
