A disc golf park has been available in Ventspils since the end of summer 2024, located next to the Adventure Park. Disc golf is a great way to combine a walk in nature with an exciting sports activity – throwing flying saucers according to the rules of golf. The time you will spend with friends and family playing disc golf will be full of adventures and positive emotions. If you do not have your own discs, you can rent them at the reception of the Adventure Park.
This park, designed by DiscGolfPark, has 18 baskets and throwing platforms, and with the support of the Municipality, it is available free of charge all year round at any time of the day. What makes this course special is the hilly terrain, which is not typical for the Ventspils territory, and the interesting throwing lines created in the well-kept pine forest.
Although disc golf is easy to learn and the principles of the game are self-explanatory, learning it will be much better facilitated by training with a professional.
