The cycling park, which opened in the spring of 2025, has become a great addition to the city's active recreation and sports infrastructure. The cycling park is accessible to everyone, regardless of age and experience. The design of the Ventspils cycling park is special and unique in that this is the first such two-level track in Europe un third in the WorldThis is the beginning of a new pump track era, setting a new bar for challenges for future tracks and bike parks.
The bike park has three zones with tracks for different age groups and means of transportation, such as bicycles, roller skates, skateboards, and scooters:
Northern part of the track – suitable for beginners and children.
Great Southern Track – with various roller coasters, trick areas, a double turn and a passable tunnel. The track is designed to reduce the risk of collision.
Adventure track “BTA Velizinis” – modular elements that simulate obstacles found in the city (stairs, potholes, curbs) will help beginners learn driving skills.
Ventspils cycling park is free of charge for every visitor – the track can be used, observing safety measures and using protective equipment. The cycling park territory is equipped with both park lighting and special floodlights. Thanks to such lighting, it will be possible to hold classes and competitions also in the evening hours. To ensure general order and compliance with safety regulations, video surveillance has been installed in the cycling park.

*Pump track There is a specially designed bike path with wavy terrain (small hills) and steep turns, designed for riding with bicycle, roller skates, skateboard or scooterusing body movements – "pumping" (not pedaling or pushing with your feet) to gain speed and move around the track.
