Archery is a great way to relax and rejuvenate in nature for people of all ages and physical fitness levels!
Nature on the archery course:
- you will spend the day in nature,
- you will try shooting with a classic bow,
- you will get to know Latvian animals better,
- will treat themselves to archers' soup cooked on a fire,
- You will have a great time with your family, friends or group.
DabaLaba offers 2 long archery ranges:
- The short course is ~1km long, 10 targets, leads along a pond, along a road along meadows, along a dam along the river (about 1,5 hours). Suitable for beginners and children.
- The long route is 3,5km long, has 20 targets, leads past a pond, through the forest, across meadows and along a dam along the river (about 3,5h). Suitable if you want a good walk with a little challenge.
»Before heading out on one of the trails, we will train everyone in basic archery techniques, and there will also be time to practice at the shooting range;
»We offer classic longbows for shooting, and every shooter also deserves safety and comfort equipment;
»The track has targets in 3D format, all targets are animals found in Latvia, at each target there is an information board about each of the animals with interesting facts. Feel free to ask about the animals, our group captain will be ready to tell you a lot of interesting things about them;
»At the end of both the long and short courses, we will treat all shooters to archery soup at our picnic area at the large table.
During the summer season (June, July, August), you can make a reservation at the cafe #Meža after archery.
Archery is suitable for children from the age of 5. Up to this age, the child can accompany the family.
The archery course is a trail in the forest, there may be small natural obstacles. Parts of the course are accessible by stroller.
