The Usma Elku linden is one of the many sacred lindens in Kurzeme, and it is particularly attractive due to its easy accessibility and the presence of the well-known Usma Lake, located in the yard of a former elementary school. Not far from the Elku linden is Moricsala — a place where in 1912, for the first time in Latvia, a protected area was designated and the first reserve was established for the purpose of preserving untouched nature.
