Visit the Būšnieku Lake Boathouse, which offers a great opportunity to enjoy boating and fishing in an idyllic lake environment from May 1 to September 15. The boathouse is located at Staldzenes Street 64, and its offer includes boats of various sizes (from 2 to 6 seats), which are ideal for both fishing and pleasant trips around the lake with family or friends.
Boat rental prices are available at very affordable prices:
- Boat rental – 1,00 EUR/h or 5,00 EUR for the whole day.
- Catamaran rental – 2,00 EUR/h.
- SUP board rental depends on the number of boards and the duration of the rental.
Boaters are provided with life jackets for safety, and for those who want to go on a trip with their own boats, a well-maintained boat launch is offered free of charge. In addition, there is a conveniently located campfire site on the lake shore, as well as a canopy with picnic tables, to make your vacation even more enjoyable.
Būšnieku Lake is a great place for lovers of active recreation, offering an 8 km long route along the lake, which is suitable for both pedestrians and cyclists. Traveling along the pedestrian bridge and enjoying the viewing platforms, it will be possible to observe the nature and bird life of the lake. In addition, the lake is rich in various fish, such as perch, pike, carp and others, which will certainly please anglers.
The boat base is open from 6:00 AM to 22:00 PM every day from May 1 to September 15. Reservations can be made by calling 22000509.
