Ventspils is close to Liepāja and Riga, only 1,5-2,0 hours drive from them, bus service is also possible.
At 118 years old, Villa Ostmala offers memories of the past along with all the modern comforts. The villa has been carefully maintained and renovated with respect for the past.
Villa Ostmala was built by Štauers Kārlis Polis in 1906 as a large three-story villa with rich wooden decoration and an observation tower, which offers beautiful views of the Vasarnīca Street area and the Baltic Sea. The villa was carefully restored in 1999, reflecting its past splendor.
The rooms in the main building are spacious, and the rooms facing the courtyard offer beautiful views of the garden. All rooms have bathrooms with a shower, some with a bathtub or a spa bath. There are also two separate apartments with a kitchen and a dishwasher, a TV and all necessary kitchen equipment.
Guests have access to several lounges, a library, a study with a desk, a café and outdoor seating. A separate playroom with a viewing tower is available for preschool children. A shared kitchen is available to all guests for preparing breakfast or heating up food. Breakfast and/or other meals can be arranged for guests for an additional fee. Delicious morning coffee is included in the room rate.
