The following writers, poets and translators are working at the International House of Writers and Translators in January: Vladislav Zhurba (Vladyslav Zhurba) (Ukraine), Victoria Jöderling (Viktoria Jäderling) (Sweden), Alberto Bile Spadacini (Alberto Bile Spadaccini) (Italy), Laura Laurušaite (Laura Laurušaitė) (Lithuania), Darth Anderson (Latvia), Evita Hoffman (Latvia), Ayumi Kurosawa (Ayumi Kurosawa) (Japan), Agita Baltgalve (Latvia), Linda Zulman (Latvia), Ambik Thompson (Ambika Thompson) (Canada), Eva Wojciechowski (Ewa Wojciechowska) (Poland).

The International House of Writers and Translators, with the support of the Nordic Council of Ministers, continues to invite Ukrainian authors and translators. A Ukrainian translator will work in January Vladislav Zhurba, who will study Latvian in depth during the residency in order to translate Latvian literature into Ukrainian.

Latvian authors to stay in January Darta Andersone, Evita Hofmane, Linda Zulmane and translator from Chinese Agita Baltgalve.

For the first time, a writer, literary critic, and creative writing teacher from Sweden will be present from abroad. Victoria Jäderling, as well as a translator of Spanish literature into Italian Alberto Bile Spadacini from Naples and translator of Swedish literature into Polish Eva Wojciechowski.   

The project is financially supported by the Ministry of Culture, the State Cultural Capital Fund, and the Nordic Council of Ministers.
