On April 5, 2026 from 12:00 to 16:00, Riņķa Street 2, Ventspils Seaside Open-Air Museum invites families with children, friends and all spring holiday lovers to a musically rich Easter in Latvian traditions and in a beautiful environment.
Visitors will be delighted by a festive market, where artisans and home-made products will offer various delicacies and crafts.
Easter traditions can also be learned through fun games and agility tests, and you will have to find out how to play “Piggy Chase”, how easy it is to carry eggs in wooden spoons or walk on wooden legs. The youngest visitors will be delighted by the animals of the mini ZOO “BUKI”. Be sure to take part in the exhibition of the most luxurious eggs and creative workshops, where you can paint eggs, make dolls or egg holders, spring flowers from yarn and natural materials, and also find out what happens in the carpenter’s workshop in the Beekeeper’s House. Both adults and children will have the opportunity to go horse riding or pony riding from the “Demoras Staļļi” horse stable or take a leisurely ride towards spring with the museum’s beloved train – Mazbānītis.
From twelve to two o'clock in the morning, the museum invites you to paint eggs together in Latvian traditions and in a large cauldron on a live fire. On one day, visitors will be moved by joint games and songs with Ārījas Klēveris and the “Muzikant” band from Ugāle, and on two days, a joyful festive atmosphere will be created by the concert of “Brāļi Auzāni”.
